What Is microblading ?

Microblading is a simple, semi permanent procedure for eyebrows that’s similar to the tattooing process, but without going as deep into your skin.

How does microblading work?

Sam at Redfox Beauty Salon in Belper is a specially trained semi permanent makeup artist. As part of the semi-permanent eyebrow procedure, Sam uses a handheld tool with a row of tiny pins to implant pigment into your skin. The pins and blade type chosen are based on the best technique depending on the results you’re after, as well as your skin type. The eyebrow tattoo pigment is placed just below the epidermis (the outer layer of your skin) and the shallowest part of the dermis (the thick layer of tissue), which makes extremely fine natural-looking hair strokes. Sam then ‘blades’ the hairs into the skin following the direction of your natural hair growth to leave you with beautifully symmetrical, realistic-looking brows.
