Updated: Apr 6, 2022

What do you think of when you hear the words 'wellness' or 'corrective'?

For our team at the RedFox Beauty clinic in Belper, it means carrying out treatments that make our clients feel better and more confident about their appearance, and more comfortable in their skin.

At Redfox Beauty salon we offer popular wellness and corrective treatments such as teeth whitening, Swedish massage, spray tanning, acne treatment, getting rid of dark circles under eyes, rosacea treatment and more. The importance of wellness in today's society is top priority right now, which is why it's no surprise that corrective treatments are on the rise this year, as people start to pay more attention to their mental and physical wellbeing.

So this week we're going to take a closer look at the top 3 corrective treatments that clients ask for at RedFox Beauty.

What is cosmetic teeth whitening?

Cosmetic teeth whitening is a very effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface (enamel). It could lighten the existing colour of your teeth by up to 16 shades!

The teeth whitening kit available at RedFox Beauty Clinic is a simple and easy to use USB kit, which lets you top up your teeth whitening in the comfort of your own home - or on the move!

Simply plug into your phone and get brighter teeth in the car on the way to work in just 16 mins!!

How does the teeth whitening process work?

Discolouration of teeth can come from extrinsic, intrinsic and internalised factors. Our gels work to remove all stains from the teeth, no matter how deep-rooted they are. Naturawhite gels are made up of molecules which are triggered by heat and light, thus speeding up the tooth whitening process.

Our professional teeth whitening machine works in combination with powerful BluForsa gels. The light triggers molecules from the gel to create ‘free radicals’ – unstable atoms which damage cells. Free radicals are deployed in the teeth whitening process for a positive gain, by attacking nearby built up protein which has caused the stain on the tooth

How does it differ from dental teeth whitening?

Dental teeth whitening is performed by a dentist and is a medical procedure. Naturawhite is a brilliant cosmetic alternative! – a self-administered whitening product that's non sensitive!

How much does teeth whitening cost?

A session of teeth whitening at RedFox Beauty in Belper, can help you to increase the whiteness of your teeth by up to 16 shades lighter! The cost of teeth whitening at RedFox Beauty is just £109 and takes only 45 mins!

How long does teeth whitening last?

Teeth whitening is like turning back the clock on the colour of your teeth – remember that they will start to darken again with age and to collect stains again, just as they would if you’d never had them whitened. The key to keeping your teeth white as long as possible, whether you have them whitened or not, is avoiding the foods and drinks that stain teeth and maintaining your dental hygiene routine. You can also use your easy to use top up device at home!

What are Skin Tags?

Skin Tags are small brown or flesh-coloured growths (usually a few millimeters to 5cm in size) that hang from the surface of your skin. They are made of loose collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by skin, and can look like warts or raised bumps. Although skin tags are common they are completely harmless, and they do not usually cause any pain or discomfort. However, they can snag on clothing or jewellery and bleed as a result, and can also lower your self esteem.

Excision Removal: The skin tag is carefully removed using a plasma pen. Quickly and simply with no fuss

What is Milia?

Milia (the plural of ‘milium’) are small white or yellowish raised cysts, bumps or spots on the skin. They are normally found around the eye area and cheeks, but can appear anywhere on the face or body. Unlike a pimple or spot; Milia feel quite hard, almost like a small piece of grit under the skin, and do not have any redness or inflammation as you might expect with whiteheads or acne-related spots. It is very common to have several Milia appear in clusters on the skin around the eyes, but it is possible to have just one Milium at a time and they can occur on any part of the body, including the groin and genital area.

Needle extraction: Once the skin with Milia has been cleaned, a sterile needle is used to create a tiny incision and the contents of the milia are carefully extracted.
